The University of San Buenaventura Cali and the University Autónoma de Occidente joined to participate in the 2019 version of Solar Decathlon 2019. Your team has designed TUHOUSE a technically unique house that uses solar energy. Next, the TUHOUSE team explains about their project:
Ten are the tests on which we are working conscientiously to make TUHOUSE have the most sustainable housing prototype of the SDLAC 2019: architecture; Engineering and Construction; Energy efficiency; Electric power balance; Comfort conditions; Operation of the house; Communication, marketing and social awareness; Urban design and economic accessibility; and innovation.
Being part of the teams participating in the second version of the Solar Decatlón for Latin America and the Caribbean 2019, which will take place in the city of Cali-Colombia, being Caleños fills us with pride. As we move forward with the development of our project we also get to know the competition in depth. This has allowed us to learn by investigating the experiences of the previous versions of the contest, of the participating teams, knowing their ideals and illusions embodied from the paper, for the realization of a dream.
